Regional Sales Manager - Northern Europe

As the market for indoor mapping and navigation matures, we are experiencing a growing demand for our MapsIndoors product built with Google Maps. To capture market share and grow revenues, we are now looking for a dedicated Regional Sales Manager for the Northern Europe region to join our ambitious team in Copenhagen.

Your job:

As Regional Sales Manager for Northern Europe, you are responsible for the Nordics, Benelux, UK, and Ireland. MapsPeople already has a number of industry partners and large Public and Private sector clients using our Indoor navigation platform in the region. We have a solid foothold in Northern Europe and the foundation for growth is in place.  

 You are responsible for developing and executing the regional business plans and meetings, and exceeding regional revenue targets. You will lead the regional MapsIndoors sales activities through selected partners, while it also remains critical to develop and grow direct sales. You report to our CSO, and your primary tasks include recruiting, developing, and managing partners for MapsPeople to achieve targeted sales growth in the region.'

Concrete tasks and responsibilities in the job:

  • Be the regional MapsPeople “ambassador”
  • Own the MapsIndoors sales target for Northern Europe
  • Develop and execute the regional strategy per country and industry
  • Build and drive direct sales activities
  • Recruit new reseller and industry partners
  • Engage directly with clients to ramp up a client portfolio
  • Contribute to co-marketing campaigns
  • Support partner sales efforts
  • Share customer & partner feedback internally
  • Remain updated with competition
  • Use MapsPeople systems and tools to effectively execute partner sales 

Your profile:

In this role, it is important that you are a hunter, have the experience of in-direct sales, and have previously sold through a channel/partner.

You hold a relevant commercial degree, however, other education can also be applicable. We expect at least 5 years of both direct and partner sales experience from enterprise software/SaaS sales in the region. In addition, you:

  • Document a strong sales track record
  • Communicate excellently in English, both in speech and in writing
  • Communicate with at least two more additional language that are relevant in the position
  • Work independently in a changeable and fast moving business environment
  • Ready to travel 20% on average, significantly more in the beginning
