We are growing fast and need a commercial-minded, structured, and pragmatic Channel Manager to help us to reach our goals by developing and implementing the global channel strategy and frameworks for our sales and marketing teams. This position is new at MapsPeople, and you refer directly to our CSO.
You are in a key position in strategic channel development. You will work closely with our sales team, where your main focus will be on developing and implementing global frameworks and programs to fit regional needs.
You are responsible for Global Channel Management and Development, and ensure one uniform approach across the board. You will develop, implement, and ensure that we have the right framework to support our stakeholders, including customers, partners, and colleagues. This includes e.g. creating and implementing the framework to help our partners to grow their MapsIndoors sales. You also have the responsibility to ensure that our processes and frameworks are compliant.
Your primary tasks and responsibilities are:
- Taking ownership of channel strategy and programs
- Building and implementing channel and growth programs
- Developing and implementing channel marketing programs together with Marketing
- Developing and implementing compliance procedures e.g. pricing management
- Driving adoption of sales and marketing programs among assigned partners
- Establishing and maintaining the contractual framework
It is important that you have solid commercial experience from B2B, partner, and channel sales, and that you understand the processes. We expect you to have at least 3 years' global experience in the SaaS company. In addition, you:
- Have experience with US and EMEA markets
- Have a relevant commercial background
- Have technical interest and curiosity towards our product
- Have experience with channel marketing programs
- Have experience with global pricing management
- Have experience with contract management will be an advantage
- Communicate excellently in English, both in speech and in writing
- Communicate complex business concepts in an understandable way
- Work independently in a changeable and fast-moving business environment
