The Development Department is responsible for the development and maintenance of MapsIndoors, our world leading flag ship of indoor navigation, and the supporting CMS.

In our main office in Aalborg, we are 17 dedicated developers expanding to 26 during 2020. 

The Mobile App Team develops apps and SDKs for iOS and Android devices.

Your job:

You will participate in driving the development of our MapsIndoors Mobile apps and SDK ensuring a high degree of maturity. There is a continuous focus on maintaining a market leading app and SDK in terms of technology, functionality and design. While your focus is iOS you will, from time to time, also develop for Android technology as well.

Your tasks include:

  • Development of roadmap features for primarily the iOS platform ensuring alignment with the Android platform
  • Design and development of roadmap and customer specific features
  • Unit test, integration test and documentation

You will work in a dedicated team with an agile mindset and your daily tools are, amongst others, Jira, GitLab and Slack.

Your profile:

You probably hold a relevant degree within SW development and have at least 1-2 years of experience from iOS development of high performance apps for both smartphones and tablets. 

We expect you to be interested in architectural disciplines and passionate about design patterns, well structured code and workflows. Your skills and experience include:

  • Development of UI taking threading technologies, memory and performance constraints into consideration
  • Swift and Objective-C experience
  • XCode and Android Studio
  • Test and release procedures for Google Play and App Store
  • Java, REST API’s

If you furthermore have experience with Java and/or cross platform frameworks (Xamarin, React Native, Ionics) it’s an additional advantage.
