The Development department is responsible for the market leading platform for indoor navigation, MapsIndoors. In our main office in Aalborg, we are 17 dedicated developers expanding to 26 during 2020.

The web development team currently employs 4 developers who are responsible for the MapsIndoors frontend consisting of JavaScript SDK, web apps, and a CMS. 

Now we are on the look for another passionate colleague.

Your job:

Your job is to help drive the development of our MapsIndoors platform for all components involving Javascript and Web technologies, and your effort will have an immediate effect on end-users, partners and IT integrators globally.

This includes:

  • Overall design and architectural considerations
  • Development of features on our web platform 
  • Unit test, integration test and documentation

You will work in a dedicated team with an agile mindset and your daily tools are, amongst others, Jira, Git and Slack.

Your profile:

You probably hold a relevant degree within Web development. Either you have a couple of years of experience from a similar role or you might even be a new graduate.

We expect you to be proficient in most of these technologies / methodologies:

  • JavaScript/Typescript
  • Web components, CSS, Angular and similar technologies
  • HTTP and REST interfaces
  • Jest or similar frameworks
  • Jira, Git, Slack
  • Scrum or other agile processes.
