We are experiencing a growing demand for our MapsIndoors product built with Google Maps. To support our regional sales managers to capture market share, we are now looking for a skilled Industry Manager to join our ambitious team in Copenhagen.
This position is new at MapsPeople, and you will report directly to our CSO. You work closely with the sales team, however, this position is commercial rather than a sales-oriented.
As an industry manager, you bring your solid industry knowledge and insights about the corporate offices market to further develop our value proposition and Go-To-Market strategies. You are the go-to person and resource when sales, marketing, and product management needs expertise from this vertical.
It is important that you are up to date with the current trends in this vertical as you will be the expert and advocate for the Corporate offices, especially within the EMEA region. You are proactive and constantly gathering information from all relevant sources, and this way expands the knowledge base.
You work on business and market development activities together with the regional sales managers. You design market strategies providing extended knowledge, where, when, who, and how the sales team should approach the corporate offices. You are a key person to enable regional sales managers to reach their targets.
Your primary tasks and responsibilities are:
- Develop and take ownership of the value proposition
- Investigate and build a deep knowledge base of this vertical
- Provide Up to date insights from this vertical
- Business Development activities
- Support Regional Sales Managers
- Build brand awareness and positioning together with Marketing
- Analyze the market
- Design market strategies
- Participate in relevant external forums and conferences
We expect you to have a relevant commercial degree, preferably combined with a technical degree as well. In addition, you:
- Have at least 5 years of experience from a similar role, preferably, positioning software solutions towards the corporate offices market, or experience working directly with Digital workspace, innovation or facilities management within a larger corporation
- Have a solid understanding of the vertical
- Communicate excellently in English, both in speech and in writing, additional European languages are an advantage
- Work independently in a changeable and fast moving business environment
- Have curiosity towards the market and our product
