The Development department is responsible for the development and maintenance of MapsIndoors, our world leading flag ship of indoor navigation, and the supporting CMS. 

In our main office in Aalborg, we are 17 dedicated developers expanding to 26 during 2020.

Your job:

You will be a key player in the continuous development of features for the MapsIndoors platform and your efforts will have immediate impact on end-users, partners and IT integrators globally.

As our new developer you will work with design, coding, review and test of features and algorithms for high performance web- and mobile applications.

This includes:

  • Development of scalable, reusable and robust complex distributed solutions that are easy to maintain and easy to operate.
  • Development of all server side and database solutions.
  • Development of cloud based solutions. 
  • Unit test, integration test and documentation.

Your profile:

You probably hold a relevant degree within SW development. Either you have a couple of years of experience from a similar role or you might even be newly graduated.

We expect you to be proficient in most of these technologies/methodologies:

  • C# and .NET Core
  • C++
  • REST web APIs and MQTT
  • MongoDB or other NoSQL database 
  • Docker, Kubernetes or similar
  • Agile development methods and tools (Jira, GitLab, Slack)

Additionally, any  knowledge of  or experience with Node.js and Google technologies is an advantage.
