As we continue our growth in North America we are scaling the organization with decentralized staff functions.
On an overall level you will be the assembling point in our office attending to general administrative activities all ensuring a high degree of availability, transparency, professionalism and well-being.
You will have reference to our CFO, based at our HQ in Denmark, and work in close relation to our local COO in the Austin office and our Danish based Talent Attraction & HR manager.
Your primary job is divided across these roles:
Office Manager - in close cooperation with the COO:
- Taking care of office related issues such as office supplies, ordering of snacks, office supplies, etc.
- Manage overall administrative activities for the office
- Additional administrative projects will be assigned as they come up
Bookkeeper - in close cooperation with the CFO:
- Process expense reports
- Processing and reviewing purchasing orders
- Full cycle Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable- billing and reconciliation
HR Coordinator - in close cooperation with the Talent Attraction & HR Manager:
- Be the go to person in the office for HR related issues
- Steer recruiting process for local hires, including search, performing interview, personality testing, obtaining references
- Securing legislative processes (offer letter, I9-form, 401(k) administration, ….)
As you will have close relations to peer functions in Denmark, the job requires regular morning video meetings with your Denmark based colleagues.
We expect you to have a commercial degree on at least bachelor level and a minimum of 5 years of experience with bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Furthermore, you have:
- Thorough experience with federal financial law
- Knowledge or experience with federal labor law
We expect you to have excellent oral and written communication skills in English
