Senior Sales Manager (direct sales)

As the market for indoor mapping and navigation matures, we are experiencing a growing demand for our MapsIndoors product built with Google Maps. To capture market share and grow revenues, we are now looking for a dedicated Senior Sales Manager with extensive experience from the US market to join our ambitious team in Austin.

Your job:

As Senior Sales Manager you will lead MapsIndoors sales activities as well as develop and grow direct sales. You will be a key player in our sales organization, and we want you to take part in both the sales activities and business development within the department. You are also responsible for developing and executing the business plans and meetings, and exceeding revenue targets.   

You report directly to our VP Sales, Americas. Your primary customers are large companies in a variety of different industries like Corporate Office, Sports & Entertainment, Retail etc., and we expect you to attract even more clients achieving the targeted sales growth in the region. 

Concrete tasks and responsibilities in the job:

  • Develop and execute the direct sales strategy 
  • Meet and exceed KPIs and sales targets
  • Build and drive direct sales activities
  • Possess deep knowledge of business product offering and value proposition
  • Contribute to business development 
  • Execute outbound campaigns and activities
  • Pipeline and forecasting management through HubSpot
  • Develop client portfolio 
  • Contribute to co-marketing campaigns
  • At all times remain updated with competition

Your profile:

We expect you to have extensive experience of direct sales and be self driven. With your commercial approach and drive you are able to create next level sales strategies and deliver solid results. 

Your educational background can vary. We expect at least 8 years of relevant experience from enterprise software/SaaS sales. In addition, you:

  • Document a strong sales track record
  • Have a strong business acumen
  • Communicate excellently in English, both in speech and in writing
  • Work independently in a changeable and fast moving business environment
  • Ready to travel 20% on average when needed

On a personal level, you enjoy the direct contact with customers to attain goals together. You are willing to “walk the extra mile” and team-oriented. Furthermore, you:
