Business Development Representative

Your job:

As our new BDR you play a key role supporting our sales team in actively seeking new business opportunities by leading our inbound and outbound sales and supporting tools. You will be responsible for defining and executing a targeting strategy for prospective customers as well as qualifying inbound leads and executing  outbound targeting strategy.

Your role will primarily be centered around the Americas market, where you will be working closely with our sales managers. You will be the first point of contact with the customers, so you will be in charge of conducting business dealings in a professional, proactive manner making sure all sales collateral required in outbound efforts are available.

Your primary responsibilities are:

  • Define personalized prospecting strategies to lead prospects from first touch to engagement
  • Nurturing leads by identifying the needs of the prospective customer
  • Qualifying inbound leads
  • Executing an outbound targeting strategy
  • Support sales team in demos with customers
  • Work with sales operations to maintain, build, and interpret Hubspot data
  • Achieve goals for new business pipeline opportunities in a repeatable way
  • Work with sales and marketing teams to generate and maintain metrics
  • Delivering research/sparring to marketing, related to persona/market intelligence
  • Market development research and recommendations when entering new markets
  • Suggest and provide any necessary data or reports to the sales team
  • Continuous improvement of key sales processes
  • Assist sales and marketing teams with any ad hoc needs that might arise

We see this position as growing into becoming a central component of our sales process, where your responsibilities will potentially also include prospecting and lead qualification. For the right talent, this is an excellent opportunity to grow into a more senior commercial role within our global team.

Your profile:

It is mandatory that you are fluent in English. Besides this, it is mandatory that you have: 

  • hands-on experience from a similar job as well as with multiple sales prospecting techniques
  • experience with CRMs and lead generation tools - Hubspot is mandatory
  • understanding of the SaaS business model
  • prior experience as an BDR/SDR or similar

Other than that it is a plus if you have Spanish or any additional language skills. 

As a person you are an enthusiast - curious and willing to learn with a comfort level for start ups where you create your own role. Creating results is what drives you, and you always manage to carry out your tasks in a timely manner with close attention to details. Your relationship skills are outspoken, and you consider yourself a people person with great listening skills. Other than that you have:

  • a natural interest in complex technologies
  • great verbal and written communication skills
  • data driven reporting skills
  • a bias towards action
