Channel Program Manager

MapsPeople is growing fast, and we need a strong commercial Channel Program Manager to lead our global channel programs initiatives. This position is critical to ensure our continued exponential growth of our partner channel, and reports directly to our CCO.

Your job:

You will play a key role in strategic channel development. Working closely with our sales team, your main focus will be on developing and implementing global frameworks and programs to fit regional needs and ensure high growth globally.

As our Channel Program Manager you are responsible for the management and continuous improvement of MapsPeople’s next generation partner program that includes multiple types of partners - ie. OEM’s, System Integrators, Resellers as well as Alliances. You will have the opportunity to grow the existing program into a world class partner program that meets the needs of our partners. These programs are necessary to build a robust ecosystem of partners that will help position, sell, and support our MapsIndoors platform (SaaS) solutions to end-customers.

Your primary tasks and responsibilities are:

  • Leading, driving and implementing all aspects of our global channel programs
  • Develop Partner Program collateral/documents and onboarding tools to enhance overall partner experience 
  • Developing and implementing channel marketing programs together with Marketing 
  • Developing and implementing compliance procedures e.g. pricing management
  • Driving adoption of sales and marketing programs among assigned partners in close collaboration with Sales and Partner Marketing
  • Manage and provide administration of partner agreements/partner contracting working in coordination with legal

Your profile:

Given the tasks above, it goes without saying that our Channel Program Manager has strong project management skills, and pay attention to details. You also have extensive commercial experience from a B2B channel sales environment. We expect you to have at least 5 years' global channel experience from a Software/SaaS company, including hands-on experience from both the US and EMEA markets. You are a team player and used to working with cross-functional teams. Your technical interest and curiosity towards our product is part of what makes you great at communicating complex business concepts in an understable way. In addition, you:

  • Know how to build and operate multi-type and multi-tier partner programs
  • Have experience with channel marketing programs 
  • Master both designing and managing processes, projects, and programs
  • Have experience with global pricing management
  • Communicate fluently in English - any additional languages will be an advantage
  • Work well independently in a changeable and fast-moving business environment
  • If you have experience with contract management will be an advantage
