Sales Development Representative

Your job:

As our new Sales Development Representative you play a key role supporting our sales team in actively seeking new  business opportunities and leading our outbound sales and supporting tools. 

You will be responsible for defining and executing a targeting strategy for prospective customers. Your role will primarily be centered around Europe (except DACH) and APAC, where you will be working closely with our regional sales leads.

Your primary responsibilities are:

  • Define personalized prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach to prospects from a first touch to engagement
  • Identify the needs and challenges of the prospective customer
  • Achieve goals for new business pipeline opportunities in a repeatable way
  • Report to the Sales Managers on outbound/prospecting results
  • As you are the first point of contact with the customers; conduct business dealings in a professional, proactive manner
  • Making sure all sales collateral required in outbound efforts are available - coordinate with marketing team
  • Delivering research/sparring to marketing, related to persona/market intelligence
  • Market development research and recommendations when entering new markets
  • Suggest and provide any necessary data or reports to the sales team
  • Continuous improvement of key sales processes
  • Assist sales and marketing teams with any ad hoc needs that might arise

Your profile:

It is mandatory that you are fluent in English and French (Dutch and other languages will be an advantage). Other than that, it is required that you have:

  • hands-on experience from a similar job as well as with multiple sales prospecting techniques
  • experience with CRM (we use Hubspot) and lead generation tools
  • understanding of the SaaS business model

As a person you are an enthusiast - curious and willing to learn. Creating results is what drives you, and you always manage to carry out your tasks in a timely manner with close attention to the details. Your relationship skills are outspoken, and you consider yourself a people person with great listening skills. Other than that you have:

  • a natural interest in complex technologies
  • great verbal and written communication skills
  • data driven reporting skills
