Quality Assurance Developer

Your job:

We are looking for a new Quality Assurance Developer to join the MapsPeople office in Nørresundby. 

The position as Quality Assurance Developer in the Development department is very much a focal point. You will contribute to continuously ensuring the quality of MapsIndoors, consisting of, among other things, APIs, SDKs and apps (web, Android and iOS) while working closely with developers with plenty of opportunities to bounce ideas back and forth. 

As our Quality Assurance Developer you are our dedicated resource when it comes to quality assurance and software testing. This means that you will be a key person in designing and developing test processes and routines across platforms. You will also be performing your own test activities during the development cycle and work closely with developers, designers, and customers to help ensure high quality in all of our products.

With a keen eye for details, you take pride in delivering software of high quality and responsibility for delivering it on time. Your primary tasks are:

  • Increase quality of the MapsIndoors product portfolio
  • Guide and Inspire the rest of the department to deliver with even greater quality
  • Maintain test specification for the MapsIndoors products
  • Drive process initiatives for the projects you are involved in
  • Developing test plans, cases, and scenarios

Your profile:

We expect you to have a relevant higher education and knowledge about how good software of high quality is achieved. You have a minimum 2 years of experience working as a QA/Test specialist, and you are familiar with testing applications on distributed platforms. Furthermore, you have experience with:

  • Tests, test environments and architecture
  • The preparation of test strategies and test panels
  • Converting business requirements into test scripts/test cases

On a personal level you are a team player and value the possibility of sparring with other tech enthusiasts like yourself. In MapsPeople we believe that it is important to enjoy being at work, so if you’re up for a game of table tennis or foosball every now and then, that’s a plus (but not a must).
