Your job:

You will work closely with our CIO, Deep Learning Engineers and Geo Data Specialists in our automation team. The automation team is part of the deployment department and its goals are to automate and streamline the collection, processing and workflows of geodata.

We have well documented manual processes to merge publicly available data sets into map service solutions for emergency call centers and bring CAD drawings to life in the MapsIndoors application. The primary objective is to handle a substantially increased map production volume by automating the manual processes using deep learning techniques and developing scripts and tools to our team of Geo Data Specialists.

Our efforts involve step by step improvements of existing processes. We use Scrum to break down our work in 3 week sprints. The sprints are synchronized with our Development department.

Specifically, your job is to...

  • Automate processing of vector data from detailed CAD drawings to simplified indoor and outdoor maps,
  • Automatic Integrations between customer data and MapsIndoors.
  • Create test routines to ensure high data quality in both input and output,
  • Prototype, design and code GIS tools as well as improve and document workflows,
  • GIS superuser to support Geo Data Specialists both inhouse and in our remote teams,

Your profile:

To be successful in this position you have a background as a M.Sc. in Land Management and Surveying, ,M. Sc. in Geoinformatics or similar. We are open to new graduates as well as experienced profiles with 5+ years of industry experience within:

  • Handling geospatial data (you love geodata),
  • Coding and scripting,
  • Database design and SQL related to relational and/or graph databases,
  • PostgreSQL/PostGIS,
  • Python or other scripting or programming languages,
  • Version control systems (we use Git)
  • C#

If you have previous experience with ArcGIS and/or QGIS it is an advantage.

You communicate fluently in English, and proficiency in Danish is an additional plus.
