At MapsPeople, we typically have a three-stage recruiting process where you get to know both us as an employer and as a company.
The interviews take place either at one of our offices or on Google Hangout, as we also recruit across borders. Either way, we're as excited about the interview as you are!
Have a look at our typical recruiting process below and, perhaps, it helps you to prepare for the interviews.
The first interview focuses on your motivation for a job change and your competencies in terms of technical skills and tools. We usually ask you to do a personality test before the interview. We also give you the first introduction to MapsPeople. Typically, you'll meet a colleague from our HR department.
The second interview is a more in-depth assessment of your technical skills and also a deeper discussion of your expectations for a job at MapsPeople. Here you'll typically meet your direct manager and a peer colleague.
If you are invited to the third interview, we'll ask you to submit two or three relevant references, who we can talk to.
The third and final interview deals with contract negotiations and other relevant issues.
A typical recruitment process takes 4-6 weeks altogether.
